Chestnut Ridge, western North Carolina’s new timeless style wedding and event venue, recently opened its doors with a celebration to remember. Future brides, venue vendors, friends, family, and the community helped mark the occasion, which has been long-anticipated by many.

The gorgeous, versatile new venue is a passion project and labor of love for owners Taylor and Preston Gregg, who began dreaming of its potential when they were married in 2010 on the plot of family land in Canton, NC where the venue now sits. With stunning mountain views, easy access to Asheville-area amenities, hometown feel, and expert style and ambiance, the venue is the culmination of years of dreaming, planning, hard work, and dedication. Now booked through 2018, Chestnut Ridge is quickly becoming one of western North Carolina’s preferred wedding venues.

The recent Open House celebration was not only a chance to tour the venue, sample tasty treats, and mingle with some of the area’s best in the wedding industry, it was also an opportunity for future Chestnut Ridge brides to imagine their special day in the finished venue. Complete with finished tablescapes, a tended bar, treat bags full of local goodies, music, and more, brides, grooms, and families got a sneak peek of what’s to come in the magical space they’ll fill with love and memories very soon.
