We’ve created a Punch List to better assist you with giving us all the final details we need to know leading up to your BIG day. We request that this be returned to us no later than 10 days prior to your event to ensure accuracy. We are happy to review this document with you when you come for your final walk-through with your Wedding Planner/Coordinator.
We want your day to be perfectly and uniquely you. We have created a customized menu to chose from of a la carte items that we can curate to bring your perfect day to fruition. Each of our A La Carte items are unique to Chestnut Ridge, and specifically designed for the CR Bride.
Our Bar Service package does not include the alcohol, which is very beneficial to the bride and groom so that they can chose what alcohol to bring in, the quantity that is right for their guests, and the palette they’d like to bring to the table. We work closely with the vendors selected for alcohol sourcing to ensure our Bar Staff is prepared, and we know exactly what’s on the menu.
We take pride in offering the best Bartending Service in Asheville through Cordial & Craft. Not only are they fun, high energy, and always go the extra mile, but they care….truly care about how efficient your bar(s) are functioning and the true experience you have with their services. Because we want your day to be perfect in every way, and so that our bartenders can go the extra mile without any unexpected hiccups, we ask that you complete the Bar Questionnaire in it’s entirety a minimum of 14 days prior to your wedding date. Any questions, don’t hesitate to ask!
Our Decor Closet is one of our most popular a la carte menu items. It eliminates so much hassle for the bride and groom (and their families) in loading truck-loads of decor items to their wedding of items you’re more than likely never going to use again. That’s why we’ve created a comprehensive ‘order form’ so that if you have added the Decor Closet to your venue package, you can easily see our inventory, quantities, and tell us exactly what you want to use.

For more items in our decor closet, and to make it more clear, we’ve included a signage inventory so that you can plan items needed for your big day as you send sweet little messages to your guests throughout the evening on chalkboard, mirrors, or pre-lettered signs.
We pride ourselves in working with the best of the best vendors in the greater Asheville area. We know they’re the best because we’ve worked with them for years, and executed endless amounts of weddings along sign one another at Chestnut Ridge, making the dream wedding come to life. However, we understand that there are other absolutely wonderful vendors out there that you may want to select ours of our vendor list. We encourage you to use the venue that best fits your style and that gets you! That’s why we allow Outside Vendors at Chestnut Ridge (without a fee). All that we ask in return is that the 4 categories listed (Caterer, Planner, Floris
t, & Entertainment) all sign the Outside Vendor Agreement to ensure they are compliant with our requirements as a venue.

Although we prefer to suggest a layout to you based on guest count and specifics surrounding your big day, this template might be helpful for you to send adjustments to us, or ideas that you might prefer we include in the layout. All final layouts must be approved and confirmed with our managements 14 days prior to your wedding day to ensure accuracy.
Our Bar Chalkboard is a great way to personalize every detail of your big day. Whether you’re using a professional calligrapher (our personal favorite being Joy Unscripted) or a family member/friend is writing on the board this is your time to introduce yourself creatively as Mr. & Mrs., send a welcome message to your guest, ensure everyone knows your #hashtag, and-or write the Bar Menu in a fun way.
Please be sure to only use regular chalk, so that the next bride can enjoy the board just as much as you!
For all weddings serving liquor of any sort, we require that you obtain your ABC Permit for the day of your event. It is a $50 one-time fee, and covers you as the host of the party serving liquor to your guests. The name on the application should match the name on your Venue Contract with Chestnut Ridge.
Please remember, all liquor must be purchased in the state of North Carolina to comply with all tax requirements and ABC specifications.
Speaking of liquor, anytime liquor is served, we require you have professional transportation contracted. We work with so many transportation companies throughout the area all of which should be familiar with the size vehicle that can transport to CR; however if you are using a transportation company that has never come to Chestnut Ridge before, we require them to have a phone call with us to ensure expectations and we highly suggest they schedule a site visit.

Chestnut Ridge strongly believes in the partnership with our local vendors. We have several favorites that aren’t exclusively built into our packages, but we still love them dearly and have high faith in the delivery of their services.

Wedding Day is one of the biggest days of a Bride & Groom’s life. They are excited, nervous, and anxious. There are many vendors who make this special day perfect and flow efficiently.
