Chestnut Ridge is just west of Asheville in Canton, North Carolina — 15 miles from downtown, yet surrounded by 150 acres of mountain farmland. It’s convenient, private, and unmistakably Carolina.
No. Each date belongs entirely to one couple. The property — chapel, hall, patio, and suites — is yours from morning to night.
Ease. Everything here is walkable, weather-ready, and intentionally connected. The mountain-view chapel removes rain stress, the layout removes shuttles, and our team removes the guesswork.
Every Chestnut Ridge wedding begins the same way — with calm, space, and everything you need already in place. Whether you’re working with your own planner or our full-service team, each package includes the foundation that makes the experience effortless.
You’ll have exclusive, full-day access to the property: the mountain-view chapel, the grand reception hall, the patio strung with bistro lights, and two private suites designed for comfort and connection. Morning begins with coffee and music in the lofted suite, light pouring through the windows. The day flows naturally from vows beneath timber beams to dinner and dancing under candlelight.
Behind the scenes, the systems are seamless. Tables, chairs, and linens are provided; the 3,500+ piece décor boutique gives you creative freedom without added cost. Professional bartenders manage every pour, with glassware and mixers included so you can stock your own bar with what you love. Temperature control, lighting, and acoustics are engineered for beauty and comfort. Walkable paths keep the day smooth.
And you’re never alone in it. Every package includes a Venue Attendant or Venue Planner present all day, ensuring that every detail feels as intentional as it looks. From setup to send-off, we stay one step ahead so you can stay present.

Ideal for couples who’ve planned the details but want expert execution. Includes a dedicated Day-of Manager who steps in a couple of months before the wedding, timeline creation, vendor coordination, ceremony flow oversight, and all behind-the-scenes logistics.

Our premier experience. A professional planning team guides design, vendor selection, floral styling, timeline management, and décor execution — especially valuable for destination couples seeking a turnkey process.
Our Signature All Inclusive
Designed for couples who want a beautiful, seamless wedding without the overwhelm. Thoughtfully curated and budget-minded, this package brings together our most trusted vendors, essential services, and the Chestnut Ridge experience you love – all in one simple step.

Yes, and yes. Our Micro-Weddings (Monday – Friday) package offers an intimate, luxury experience for up to 60 guests — ideal for small weddings, vow renewals, or weekday celebrations. It includes 8 hours of venue access, a ceremony in the Pavilion or on the patio, your choice of planning involvement, and more — everything you need for an effortless celebration without compromise.
Most couples choose the Venue + Event Planning package. It’s the signature Chestnut Ridge experience — designed for couples who want to be completely immersed in the celebration while we handle everything else.
This package pairs full-day venue access with complete planning and design services. Our in-house planners oversee timelines, vendors, and décor from start to finish, blending logistics with artistry so every decision feels cohesive and intentional. You’ll collaborate directly with your planner on vision and style, then step back while our team brings it to life.
For out-of-state or destination couples, it’s effortless. We coordinate all communication, confirm details with vendors, and ensure the day flows exactly as planned — so you arrive in the mountains knowing every element has already been handled with care.

Absolutely. Our A La Carte Menu lets you elevate your day with curated enhancements, such as:
- Southern Skeet Shooting Experience – a unique, on-site activity for the wedding party (alcohol prohibited on range)

Yes. Chestnut Ridge offers a signature bar experience that combines flexibility with refinement. We’re BYOB, so you can bring the wines, beers, and spirits you love — and our trained + professional bartenders handle everything else.
From mixers and glassware to setup, service, and cleanup, every detail is managed in-house. It’s a seamless system that keeps your event elevated and effortless while saving thousands compared to traditional venue bar packages.

Guest Experience
Most of our weddings come from beyond North Carolina. We’ve designed systems for effortless destination planning — virtual tours, online portals, and trusted local vendor networks to coordinate remotely.
We provide a curated accommodations guide for Asheville, Waynesville, and Canton, with boutique hotels, cabins, and group Airbnbs just 10–20 minutes from the venue.
We love it when couples want to extend the celebration with a rehearsal dinner or next-day brunch — but to preserve the integrity and experience of your wedding day, we only accommodate additional events with a full-day rental for extended venue access.
Otherwise, we kindly don’t allow events that require separate vendor access or setup outside of your contracted date. The venue is designed to be a one-day transformation — and we’re big believers in keeping that wedding-day “wow” moment sacred.
That said, we partner with some incredible local venues and small businesses that are perfect for hosting more casual or intimate events (without spoiling your grand reveal!). We’re always happy to send a few recommendations your way if you’re looking for the perfect spot.

Full-day access (9 AM – 11 PM) is included in all standard packages; the event ends at 10 pm with vendors out by 11 pm. Additional AM hours can be added through A La Carte pricing.

Yes. The reception hall is climate-controlled, and the covered porch allows open-air, fireside cocktail setups in any season. The ceremony chapel is enclosed or open-air, allowing you to enjoy all the outdoor elements without worrying about the outdoor elements. The best of both worlds!
Yes. Chestnut Ridge was built so every guest — two-legged or four — feels at home.
Planning & Policies
Venue-Only bookings require an approved planner. Event Management and Full Planning packages include this service in-house.
Our on-site Décor Boutique includes 3,500 pieces of vessels that host a candle, mirrors, and accent pieces — complimentary with all packages. Additional furniture and specialty items are available upon request.
No hidden fees, ever. Enhancements are optional and transparent at booking.
Good to Know
Prime weekends (April–November) often fill 12–18 months out. Winter dates tend to book 6–9 months ahead.
Yes! Our current offerings include:

828 Locals + Military Discount – Couples (or their parents) who live in the 828 area code or actively serve in the U.S. Military receive 8% off the base price of our Event Management or Event Planning Packages. (Not applicable to all-inclusive packages, à la carte items, or holiday weekends.)

Less Than One Year Out Discount – Planning a wedding within the next 12 months? You may qualify for a special discount on the base price of our Event Management or Event Planning Packages. (Excludes all-inclusive and à la carte items.)

Weekend Package Access – Available during December–March, July, and August, this add-on gives you extra time on-site: 3 hours the day before for rehearsal/drop-off, normal wedding-day access, and next-day pickup time.

Friday Wedding 2-Day Access – All Friday weddings booked outside of May, September, and October can add a 2-day access window, including a 3-hour Thursday drop-off and rehearsal block.
Please note: Our signature All-Inclusive Packages already reflect built-in savings, so additional discounts do not apply, and specials cannot be combined.
10 PM is standard, with the option to extend.
